The Man in the Shadows (2. For a low budget film, this was surprisingly pleasing. I saw the description and my first thought was that this would be just as shitty as some other low budget films I've seen.. I must confess, I was taken aback by how good it was. The camera and both diegetic and non- diegetic sounds were on point.

The plot was generic, but with some creative spins to it which I thoroughly enjoyed. What was done with the low budget was also impressive. The acting was above average for a low budget and give or take a few superfluous scenes, a few poor choices in terms of sound and plot and the only piece of bad voice acting towards the very end of the movie, this was a success.

Keep in mind that I'm not rating this on the same scale I would rate a professional movie.. I would only consider this professional quality if I would have given it a 1.

But an 8, from me, is a success and a good film.
